How we grade, and how we make money. We don’t play-test rackets. We aggregate specialist reviews, video analysis, verified owner ratings and manufacturer specs into one comparable score, and we list every source at the bottom of this page. The ML10 Pro Cup is the control racket the rest get measured against, and its sweet spot is the largest we have recorded so far. Five specialist sources put it between 8.3 and 9.2, and every one of them says the same thing in different words: you will not find an easier racket to place the ball with. It grades 8.6.

Two caveats, and both matter more than usual. The sources disagree sharply about who this racket is for. And there are three versions with genuinely different faces, which is where most buyers get lost.

The short version

Miguel Lamperti’s signature frame has been the reference control racket for years, and the 2025 revision does not try to reinvent it. Round shape, HR3 high-density rubber core, a low balance point around 265 mm, and 360–375 g depending on version. The result is a racket that sits back in your hand and rewards placement over pace.

The trade-off is not hidden: on power, the five sources average 6.9 — the lowest figure of any racket in our database so far. Nobody buys this for the smash.

Within Nox’s range its natural rival is the AT10 Genius, which sits at the opposite end of the same catalogue. If you want the control-first profile with more bite, the comparison worth reading is against the Bullpadel Vertex 04.

How it scored

Five independent specialist sources went into this grade. Specs come from Nox’s own datasheet. The weighting is normally identical for every racket — but not here, and we explain why in the next section.

Why this grade is calculated differently

Our score normally takes 30% from verified owner ratings. The ML10 Pro Cup is not sold on Amazon UK, so that data does not exist for the British market, and we are not going to import ratings from another country’s listing and pretend they are the same product at the same price.

We redistributed that 30% proportionally across the three components we do have: specialist consensus rises to 50%, verified specs to 29%, value to 21%. It is the honest way to handle a gap, and you should read the 8.6 knowing that it rests on five expert opinions rather than on five expert opinions plus several hundred buyers. Where the sources disagree: is this a beginner racket?

This is the most useful disagreement we have found so far, because it changes who should buy it.

One source calls it “ideal for beginners learning padel” and scores control 7.0, arguing that the racket encourages proper technique rather than compensating for a lack of it. Another describes it as an intermediate-to-advanced control instrument and scores control 5 out of 5, framing that same forgiveness as a tool for players who already know where they want the ball to go.

Our reading: both are right about the racket and wrong about each other. The enormous sweet spot genuinely makes it easy to use, which is why beginners get on with it. But the low power ceiling means an improving player hits the limit of what it can do faster than with a teardrop. It is a superb first racket if you intend to build a control game, and a frustrating one if you expect to start finishing points at the net within a year.

That answers the question the Reddit thread ranking third for this search never quite resolves.

Coorp vs Silver vs Quantum 3K

Three versions, and the face material is what separates them. This is the comparison none of the top three results makes.

If you play more than twice a week, pay the difference for the Quantum 3K. The carbon face is the one component the sources single out for durability, and the Silver’s fibreglass is explicitly flagged as the weak point under heavy use.

Who it’s for

• Buy it if you play a control game, defend well, or want the most forgiving sweet spot money buys.
• Buy it as a first racket only if you are happy building a placement game rather than a power one.
