What actually matters in a padel bag
- A thermal racket compartment. The only feature with a mechanical justification. Cold hardens EVA foam and makes a frame brittle; heat softens it and can delaminate a face. If your racket lives in a car, this is worth the money.
- A separate shoe pocket, ventilated. Padel shoes come off a sanded court full of sand. You do not want that against your clothes.
- Straps you will actually use. Backpack straps beat a single shoulder strap for anything you carry more than ten minutes.
- Capacity you have, not capacity you want. A six-racket bag holding one racket is a large empty bag.
What does not matter: the brand, the colour, and the number of small zipped pockets. Those are the three things the product photography sells hardest.
